Hospitality Team Member
Level 2

The Hospitality Team Member Level 2 Apprenticeship is designed for those working in a wide range of hospitality settings across the service and commercial sectors. A Team Member can operate in a range of functions across the business, include Food and beverage services, Barista, Food production, Concierge, Front of House Reception, Housekeeping, Reservation or events and is likely to appeal to an individual who has a clear career path in mind in this sector.

The primary objective of someone achieving this standard is to gather the skills, knowledge and behaviours to prepare them for a career within the industry and first-line supervision, however, it is necessary to understand and have experience in the basics the role provides, in order to progress into any future role.

Who is this Apprenticeship suited for?

This Apprenticeship is designed for individuals in a range of hospitality roles, including:

· Hotel Staff
· Receptionists
· Food and beverage staff

Duration

Typically, this Apprenticeship takes a minimum of 12 months to complete.

Employer Commitment

Employers must be prepared to provide the learner with the opportunity to carry out work, learning and be part of projects which will support and enable the learner to produce substantial evidence towards their qualification.

To support Apprenticeship achievement, we request that employers play a hands-on role throughout the duration, participating in joint reviews at regular intervals. We also encourage employers to actively engage with the Apprentice and ourselves to discuss progress, identify any additional learning or potential issues or concerns that may arise.

Eligibility

A minimum achievement of Maths and English Functional skills to a Level 1 standard is required before undertaking the End-point assessment. Level 2 for Maths and English should also be attempted.
